Created for Mackenzie’s Tunes & Tonics, this commissioned installation transformed a 16-foot brick wall into an immersive celebration of music, movement, and light. The brief called for a music-inspired focal point for the venue, leaving the creative direction entirely open for interpretation.

The result was Joyous Symphony — a 16-foot custom-built guitar sculpture composed of layered musical elements and repurposed instruments. Constructed from mosaicked recycled CDs, harmonicas, suspended musical notes, and vinyl records, the piece was designed to feel energetic, playful, and alive within the space.

The holographic surfaces of the CDs combined with custom LED backlighting cast shifting reflections, color, and rainbow-like light throughout the venue. To further enhance the experience, the lighting system was programmed to react to the tempo of live performances, creating an interactive visual component during concerts and open mic nights.
